Journal Like This to Become the Author of Your Life

Many of you do journaling as a daily practice, or have dabbled in it before, but have you heard of SCRIPTING? It’s a way to become the author of your life and script the things that you want to have happen.

When you imagine a scenario using your senses, your physiology is affected in much the same way as if you were actually doing it and add in emotion!

How would you feel if this were happening in your life?

Feel the feelings as you write about it as if it is happening right now, and the same chemicals/neurotransmitters are released. Your system believes that it’s already happened- it feels natural now. Like the law of attraction, what we focus our attention on is what we get! When your system believes that it’s already happened, it makes it much more possible to experience in your life. It’s as if your system says, “Oh yeah, this is easy – I’ve already done this before! Piece of cake!”

What are the things that you’d like to have happen in your personal life and career? Where do you want to go? What interesting things do you want to explore? Script it out! Write about it with gratitude as if it has already happened.

Here’s a little example:

I had the best date last night at Caparelle’s Italian Restaurant (the Frutti Di Mare was so freaking delicious!!!) celebrating my promotion at work. I’m so thankful that my boss has seen the hard work I’ve been putting in and has agreed to increase my salary $20,000 per year!!! Whooo hoooo!!! I’m going to put it towards the new Bronco that I’ve been wanting! And oh my gosh – the date was so romantic! Deep conversation was flowing, we couldn’t take our eyes off of each other. The way he smelled was driving me crazy! I’m looking forward to yoga tomorrow – there’s a cool person there that I think could become a new friend. I’m going to invite her out for coffee ….

One of our friends has become a master at this. She scripts actual conversations and specific situations between certain people and they happen exactly as she lays it out! It is completely insane!!!!

Scripting can be done each morning for 10-15 minutes, once a week, once a month, or once a year you can do a big one!
